The Economic Development Division of the City Manager’s office is actively in the process of creating an updated Economic Development Strategic Plan. This strategic plan is being branded as the Wheat Ridge Prosperity Plan (the Plan) and is being developed as a stand-alone document to be used by the City Manager’s Economic Development Division (as well as key partners). The City has contracted with Progressive Urban Management Associates (P.U.M.A.) to develop the Plan, who will provide an update on findings to-date and discuss the Plan’s emerging goal and objectives framework. A final Plan is anticipated to be delivered in September 2024.
