The purpose of this staff report is to request City Council consideration and approval of an Agreement for the Exchange of Land between the City of Wheat Ridge and The LLC, LLC (the “Redeveloper”) for the exchange of: • The portion of the City-owned property at 7500 W. 29th Avenue currently occupied by the municipal building (the “Existing Civic Center Site”), and • Approximately 4.5 acres located on the north end of the 89-acre Lutheran Legacy Campus (the “New Civic Center Site”). This agreement establishes the terms and conditions under which the City would acquire property at the Lutheran Legacy Campus for a new municipal facility. This structure allows the City to reposition its City Hall without a direct land purchase.
