Item No. 4 - RESO - amend budget for HUD grant
The City of Wheat Ridge was awarded $2 million in federal Community Project Funding, secured through Congressionally Directed Spending approval by Representative Brittany Pettersen. The funding is administered by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development and will support Foothills Regional Housing’s acquisition of Fruitdale School Lofts to preserve the long-term affordability of the 16-unit apartment building.
The City must approve a supplemental budget appropriation to receive, budget, and disburse the funds at closing.
