The City recently conducted its workers’ compensation premium audit with Pinnacol Assurance for the year 2020. The audit resulted in a premium adjustment of $33,534. The increase is due to reassigning employees into more appropriate workers’ compensation codes to ensure adequate coverage, underestimating of payroll in 2019 for 2020 and omission of nonpaid boards and commissions members in the original quotation.
