Item No. 1c - Reso. amending FY '22 Cap. Imp. Budget Wads.

The City executed a contract with Concrete Works of Colorado in the amount of $36.5 million on August 23, 2021 to construct Phase 1 of the Improve Wadsworth Project. The anticipated completion date of the project is in the fall of 2023. The 2022 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) Budget includes $16.5 million for work to be completed in 2022. It is anticipated more work will be completed on the project than anticipated or budgeted for in Fiscal Year 2022. Therefore, a supplemental budget appropriation in the amount of $7,260,000 is required in order to keep theproject moving forward.
