Housing Supportive Code Amendments

Amending Chapter 26 of the city code to update the review processes for qualifying affordable housing projects and to update Accessory Dwelling Unit (ADU) setback requirements for some zone district to ensure compliance with state regulations. This will ensure that Wheat Ridge remains eligible for state funding opportunities.
Amendments to the Wheat Ridge Animal Code
Pending
City Council has requested updates to several animal-related provisions in the Municipal Code. Two of those provisions affect the Zoning Code; one related to swine and one related to roosters. The item under consideration is to amend Chapter 26, Zoning and Development, of the Wheat Ridge Code of Laws to update the small animal requirements for residential properties.
